Suit Accuses Winter Haven Hospital of Negligence

A Polk County man has filed a lawsuit against Winter Haven Hospital, saying a fire broke out during a procedure to give him an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator and that the fire caused him to lose two fingers on his right hand.
