Proskauer Sues Ex-Client Accusing Firm of Malpractice

After its former client sued the firm for malpractice, Proskauer Rose and four of its partners have sued the client's senior executives, claiming the malpractice suit has harmed the firm's reputation and led it to incur substantial legal fees.

Judge refuses to attach Njoku’s assets in sexual-misconduct suit

A judge has denied an East Hartford woman’s bid to attach the assets of imprisoned former physician Edwin A. Njoku in a lawsuit in which she accused him of medical malpractice and other civil wrongs for injuring her during sexual intercourse, Njoku’s lawyer says.
